The stadium is home to Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Leeds Rhinos Rugby League Club, and the redevelopment has seen the addition of a new stand, a new pavilion, and a new media centre.

Project background

Development of a New Stadium to the combined Leeds Rhinos & Yorkshire Cricket Ground, This comprised of 2 New Stands, 1 new North Stand which purely serves the Rugby facility & the other which combined the 2 complexes. The construction comprised of roof & wall façade cladding to new build & to some existing refurbished areas of the ground.

As part of the redevelopment, a new roofing solution was installed on the stadium. The new roof is made of ETFE, a lightweight, translucent material that allows natural light to enter the stadium. The roof also features a number of solar panels, which generate electricity for the stadium. The new roofing solution has a number of benefits. It provides shelter from the elements for spectators, players, and staff. It also helps to reduce energy costs and improve the sustainability of the stadium.
